A few years back I got called in to be 1 of 3 directors on the new Star Wars Clone Wars TV series. I had a lovely meeting at the Bobs Big Boy flagship store in Burbank to go over details. Then I get an email a week later saying that they were only going to have 2 directors, and 1 rotating guest spot instead. After spending 4 years of my life on Star Wars, maybe it was a sign to move on. At least I found out later that they gave the position to my good friend Brian OConnell, who is 1000xs more talented than I am. I am looking forward to seeing what he does with it.
